Author Lidgold Carole M. (nee Thomas) was born in Toronto, is married, mother of two, grandmother of two, and attended Winston Churchill High School in Scarborough. She inherited the voice of his grandfather and father, and sang in life Choralaires Canada, choirs of the Church and was a member of the Vocal Ensemble Serenade for eleven years. Carole the author of The History of The Inn of the trade and published eight books. She tried to politics, but lost and has since worked as a secretary, now retired as secretary of the church.
Features: birds of my brush by Carole M. Lidgold – In April 1763, an unknown artist and naturalist, Elizabeth (née Symonds) Gwillim was born in England. She accompanied her husband, Henry, Madras, India, in 1800, where he died in 1807. In London, England, in 1924, Dr. Casey Wood, a surgeon and ornithologist, discovered in an "out of the store to the arts, watercolor paintings, Elizabeth Gwillim. Today, 2009, these paintings, painted two decades before he published his famous Audubon Birds of America, are part the largest collection of black-Wood of Zoology and Natural History at McGill University, Montreal, Quebec. Copies of many of his paintings of birds of India are included in this novel.
In the story: the birds in my brush is a novel based on facts known to be a bit of life and premature death of Elizabeth Gwillim. My character, Sarah Purcell was born in the spring when the birds were singing the birth of his new offspring. As a child, and later as adults, and Sara was obsessed with drawing precise details of the birds. She married William Cantwell, a lawyer determined to live in the land of his childhood hero, Robert Clive, the hero English in the development of India. Sister Sara's younger sister, Rosa Purcell, accompanied on this trip. Rose dream tormented death in India hampered his enjoy this new life.
My brush overview Birds: A compelling account of a life unknown artist!
The life and times the 18th century animal painter Elizabeth Gwillim shrouded in mystery and uncertainty. She was born in England in 1763 and moved to India with her husband in 1800, where has worked diligently to perfect his art.
She received the public recognition of his life and died a dark, discover an artist in his mid- the 40s, apparently, for the longest time as if his art may have gone to that grave.
Almost two centuries later, the watercolors of wildlife Gwillim were "discovered" in a London art shop in England. Now, in death, Gwillim got what he could not in life, the accuracy of wildlife art, including drawings of birds, has been widely recognized as one of the best time. Gwillim work is now part of most black-Wood Library of Zoology and History Natural McGill University in Montreal, one of Canada's leading schools of higher education.
Carole M. Lidgold, a Canadian writer fascinated by Gwillim of life and art, has painted a fascinating portrait of life in their new Gwillim, the writing of fiction based on fact bird right in my brush. Lidgold took what that Gwillim known history and is based on the edges, crafts a novel written entirely from the scope of the summary of his extraordinary life Gwillim.
She has created a main character, Sarah Purcell, Purcell as the use of the character represented Gwillim, producing a scan, captivating story of art lovers and history is extremely enjoyable and memorable dramatically.
The story covers the artist's life from the earliest years in England, during the artistic production in India, developed relatively early death of the artist. Along the way, this is very clear: author Lidgold fascination with the life and works of art Gwillim shines through 280 pages of the novel. A special bonus for readers is that the birds in brush my offer not only the details of the background facts of life Gwillim, but representative samples of his work.
Lidgold is an accomplished writer, whose stories often verge of life and vitality. Birds on my brush offers more a € "a historic and artistic integrity that takes readers back in time to see the hard life of an artist who produces works of first order, but could not get out of jail dark art.
