Why are dog owners ears cultures? breed standards?
I do not really get the point of growing ears and docking tails. I mean there's no reason to do anything else you see. I know this is a breed standard for some breeds, but why is a breed standard? Is not that a dog born without a tail and an ear, so why is there a standard? What is the process to cut the tail and ear cropping? Does it hurt? Ears every time I heard it is quite expensive. Would not it be better to lose money on dog food and toys? I'm pretty sure the dog would be much happier.
Both were taken to protect the dog. In the Doberman, a criminal can not hold on to the ear and tail if they were not there. In many herds of dogs, the tail would be painful and may be infected if the foot of a cow or a sheep or goat or whatever. Ear cropping has been the norm, but is no longer mandatory in many races. But the queue for U.S. home remains essentially mandatory standard. This means that, for many dogs is "standard", but the dog will not be disqualified if not. But some find that the dogs are cropped / docked in the area show a stronger movement than he. In the boxers, a tail is not cut "severely punished" – meaning a boxer scale probably never anchored in the ring conformation. Home is a couple of days. Harvesting is done in older dogs – usually 8-12 weeks. My friend who is a breeder of boxers allows new owners to do so – with a licensed veterinarian. If you do not want, the better. If a white boxer and wanted the dog may be considered anchored leave you. A good breeder was nice talking to you about it.
