I have an oil leak on a John Deere mower (golf), behind the oil filter?
I can see that the oil flows do, but what is can not be happening because its in a difficult access to the site … There is a nut behind the oil filter when you unscrew the filter. Should I remove the engine of all or think that it can take out the oil filter of the box to find and repair the leak?
is the oil filter support, 3 screws (one below and two above) remove, replace the gasket and reinstall. Let me mention one common mistake, change the filter time, sometimes the old filter O-ring trapped in the seat and when the new filter installed on top of that, the new filter leaks in the seats.
