International Harvester Company (IHC or IH, now Navistar International Corporation) is an agricultural machinery, construction equipment, vehicles, commercial trucks, and home and manufacturer products business. In 1902, the Robber Baron quintessential JP Morgan bought the McCormick Harvesting Machine Company and Deering Harvester Company, along with three smaller companies agricultural machines: Milwaukee, Plano and Warder, Bushnell and Glessner (manufacturers of Champion brand). JP Morgan and formed the International Harvester. International Harvester sold Ag division in 1985 and changed the name of the company. Case IH is formed when the Agriculture Division was merged with JI Case.
History

The International Harvester roots date back to the 1830s, when Cyrus Hall McCormick, inventor of Virginia, has completed its version of a mower pulled by horses. The combine has been shown in trials in 1831 and was patented by Cyrus in 1834. With his brother, McCormick moved to Chicago in 1847 and started the McCormick Harvesting Machine Company. The McCormick reaper sold well, partly due to good business practices and innovative. Its products have been marketed as the development railway offering a wide distribution to distant markets. Developed marketing and sales techniques, developing an extensive network of qualified vendors to demonstrate the operation of machinery in the field.
McCormick died in Chicago, to move his company to his son, Cyrus McCormick, Jr. In 1902, the McCormick Harvesting Machine Company and Deering Harvester Company, and three smaller companies Agriculture Hardware (Milwaukee Map and Warder, Bushnell and Glessner (manufacturers of Champion brand)) have merged to create the International Harvester Company. In 1919, Parlin and Orendorff plant in Canton, Illinois grew up with a ranking number one in the plow manufacturing. The golden years of the IH
In 1926, Farmall Works began production at a new plant in Rock Island, Illinois, built only to produce new Farmall tractor. In 1930, the 100,000 th Farmall was produced. An overly conservative management combined with a rigid policy of internal promotions tend to stifle new management strategies and technical innovation. Technology products with more elderly and most have continued production for several years, despite their marginal income. Worse, the applicant now not only face a threat of strong competition in each of its major businesses incorporated, but also had to deal with increased production costs considerably, mainly because of work and government-imposed environmental and safety ..
