Question on tractors and "live PTO conversions.?
I have two tractors that I love. One is a 1949 Farmall Cub, the other is a Super 1952 Farmall M. The puppy has a Woods belly mower and I use this tractor to mow the lawn, trees and removal of wood around, etc. .. The Super M is a restoration project and my father's farm. I want so much to run with live PTO. In other words, when I push the clutch or detention, the PTO is going. For the Cubs, when I'm in the thick grass I want to be able to slow and stop to keep "chewing." For Super M, but will be a tractor show, I want to be able to rake and bales of hay with him and all our instruments are operated PTO (not hay rakes wheel running). So what's the catch? Is a kit? Some parts I have to buy? Or just change settings? Please tell me the details of this, and if it did, in tractor and how does it work? There is no way I will sell my Farmall. They are family heirlooms.
Not sure, but the two wheeled speed machines. They were designed to work the way you work, and no other way! Is it hydraulic? If so you could use a motor for the hydraulic equipment? Sorry, can not be more help
