It is a kit of four gauge wires too big for my subwoofer installed in my car?
I have two 10 "Rockford Fosgate P2 and managing a 700 watt amp with it, I thought for a cable set 4 gauge, but I was curious to know if it was too big? Could be problems with or is it good? If another size is better for me to recommend? Well someone gave me a kit 4 gauge cable if money is not important.
8 gauge should be many. If you plan to add additional devices in the future, you can use 4ga. If all you plan to use a 8GA amplifier 700watt should be fine and cheaper 4ga. If you add more devices, more later, will have additional wiring and devices. If you use 4ga. you can always add a distribution block to split this thread 8GA several 4ga son.
