can ruin the contaminated diesel injection pump on a Nissan Xtrail?
Xtrail started to lose power, but only when they go away after being dug with the engine running as a red light or an intersection where id would not be removed above 2000 rpm to go to turn the engine and return to then it would drive fine until I had to pull back Nissan dealer said he had ruined contaminated diesel fuel pump and injectors I have doubts
Not entirely true, I fear, Nissan know there is a problem with high pressure pumps T30 X-Trail, and the pumps can be used early, however, the filling of old diesel could be messy is not helpful. The pump creates 230bar at idle and even the smallest contaminants, dirt as small as 10 microns is enough to ruin a bomb. I would ask for a contact print from there 2 or 3 machines confirms this statement, if that's what I think is the error code P0089 is likely to and this is related to the suction control valve, which can be substituted for the pump still in the car. You car still works, sometimes fails and leads to a slower 2000rpm which says that the pump is always to create sufficient pressure to maintain the injection pressure which is then controlled by electronics. When the suction control valve fails, the suction control valve can not maintain pump flow and starving the fuel pump which explains why it does Needless to say default limp. If you start the engine but the engine idling hunting is increased over and fall, then it is a suction control valve, distributors Nissan will have a number lower parts, in my experience, I recommend replacing the pump and then reprogram the pump technology to learn the values.
