Author William R. Potter takes the reader on the heart and soul of his character and mind a twisted psychopath. Potter € ™ s first novel body whole dead Knight is told from the point of view of Detective Jack Staal and the prospect of murderer who murders women in their birthday.
Through the intelligent use of history again, we learn that the detective Staal is suffering from PTSD after a terrible fire. You can not shake the horror that day, Staal has left his post in Vancouver PDA ™ € s homicide squad and raised his career with the police in a fictional town called Hanson, Columbia British.
Concerned about the work the most important case of his career, Staal is forced out when the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Integrated Market € ™ s homicide are assigned to the case. Not one to sit on the bench, Staal persuaded his colleagues to follow his example and carry out a serial murderer media media have called the Birthday Boy.
Believing he is a soldier of justice, a young man lost began a ruthless campaign of terror. Damien Knight (Birthday Boy) is convinced of his righteousness, and continues its brutal crusade of vengeance. While the number of dead, the Knights made € ™ s value and soon became their anger against a tired Staal. Staal and the cat and mouse play Caballero emotions culminating in an epic one to one meeting of the COP compared murderer.
Potter has created an intriguing police procedural with a strong main character, with an excellent supporting cast and a plot with twists, turns, and plenty of false leads. I have read many books of this genre with a protagonist who is a bulletproof, womanizer Neanderthal. However, Potter € ™ s Jack Stahl takes a beating, both physically and emotionally. This is an author who donâ € ™ t afraid to show his hero rest or make mistakes. Potter has written a fascinating story full of tension and conflicts, the dialogue fresh and the pace. We put the story with detailed descriptions and explanations of landscapes.
I recommend Dead Knight, a mystery Jack Staal. Is it safe to delight fans of Patricia Cornwell's Kay Scarpetta ™ € so € ™ s Michael Connelly Harry Bosch.
