How to replace an old radiator damaged or leaking
This is a list of things you need
(1) The new radiator radiator or a second hand that you can pick up a good price if you shop around.
(2) braces and new radiator hoses if necessary
(3) Coolant
(4) A screwdriver
(5) reacher peak
WHAT TO DO STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
(1) Do not attempt to remove the radiator if you think it may be too hot, make sure your car is in park and hand brake.
(2) Remove the protective radiator located in the top of the radiator with a screwdriver.
(3) Remove the metal hooks on the sides of the radiator of the radiator.
(April) Loosen the radiator cap.
(5) Cancel all the pipes go up radiator with a screwdriver. The pipeline flow that requests the use of long nose pliers to get the hose.
(6) Cancel the lower radiator hose and put a bucket under the radiator, then pull the hose so that all spills coolant into the bucket. Then disconnect all the tubing.
(7) Remove the radiator grille surround.
(8) Slide the old radiator.
(9) Slide the new radiator slowly over the holes so they line up with branches at the base radiator. If the heater is correctly then the heater should not move much.
(10) Replace the radiator fan around.
(11) Replace radiator metal loops on the side of the radiator.
(12) Connect all backup tubes where where, of course they are tight so that coolant can not escape.
(13) Replace the radiator guard above the radiator.
(14) Fill the radiator with coolant as you can run the car for a minute, and then replenished.
Changing a radiator to save between $ 50 – $ 100, with the money you save by doing this, you can buy something nice about you.
