I have a BMW 328i that the temperature gauge is in the red?
Over the past few days the temperature gauge went into the red. I stopped the car, but said it still seems to be 50/50 theirs. I'll cook dinner and shop for several hours and back and the car almost instantly back to the area red (not always). After running the car for about 5 minutes (if not red) to measure the temperature levels return to normal and I finished my album. Ideas?
You need a new thermostat. While you're at it, change the water pump as they are known to fail and are very cheap. If you change the thermostat while they do not overlap with all costs of labor Andy
